Mobile Phone and Electronics Store Movers in Jeddah

Small stock, large value, and glass display cases that forgive nothing. We move the shop against a signed count, not a handshake.

What it costs and how the job is structured

A small mobile phone shop in Jeddah moves for SAR 500 to 900. A mid-sized store with several display cases and a back stock room is SAR 800 to 1,400, and a large showroom SAR 1,200 to 1,900. A single unit such as one display case or a shelving bay goes on a pickup for SAR 80 to 250. The price is written down after a free survey.

What makes a phone shop unlike any other retail move is the ratio of value to volume. One carton can hold more value than every fixture in the shop. So our plan starts with the count rather than the loading, and ends with a signature rather than a thank you.

The stock count comes before anything is lifted

No box moves until it is known what it holds and who sealed it.

1

The count is made by the shop, not by us

We do not count or inventory your stock. The owner or branch manager does and produces the list; we take receipt of sealed, numbered boxes.

2

Every box numbered and sealed

Closed with security tape and marked with its number only, never its contents. Writing "phones" on a box in an open loading area is an invitation nobody needs.

3

One manifest, two copies

One with you and one with the vehicle. At the unload the manifest is checked box by box and signed.

4

High-value stock should not go on the truck

Sealed new devices and items reserved for customers are best carried by the owner. We give that advice rather than imposing it, but it saves more than any insurance.

5

The load is never left unattended

From the moment a box is sealed to the moment the receipt is signed, someone from the shop is with it.

Glass display cases

The most expensive fixture in the shop and the easiest to break.

A glass display case is the costliest item of shop furniture and the one most often damaged. It is emptied completely first — nothing is left inside, however light — then the internal shelves come out and are wrapped individually, then the sliding doors are removed where that is possible.

The carcass is protected with foam on the edges and corners first, then a blanket, then stiff card across the glass faces. It travels upright at all times and strapped to the body wall. A display case laid flat breaks under its own weight at the first speed bump.

The internal lighting — strips and drivers — is removed and bagged with a label naming the case it belongs to, because reconnecting a strip to the wrong driver burns it instantly. Where a case is built into a wall or a counter, it is dismantled with numbered panels.

Devices, accessories and small stock

The part that takes the longest and the least space.

📱

Display devices

Back into their original boxes where they exist, otherwise into cases with dividers. Never stacked without a divider, however rigid the boxes look.

🔋

Batteries and chargers

Loose batteries are packed separately from devices and never sealed into a box left in the sun. Heat and lithium cells are not a joke.

🎧

Small accessories

Cases, cables and audio go into medium boxes sorted by type. Packing by the old shelf is a mistake, because the new shop will be laid out differently.

🖥️

Wall-mounted screens

Removed with their brackets, carried upright in original cartons where possible, with nothing placed on top.

🧾

POS and payment terminals

Disconnected with the cabling photographed, and transported with their leads in a labelled bag. Reactivation may need notice to your provider.

🔐

The shop safe

Emptied before it moves, carried on a dedicated trolley with extra hands, and quoted after a photograph and the floor are known.

Shops inside a mall

The most common reason a retail move in Jeddah stalls is not the truck.

A shop inside a mall cannot be moved at any hour. Almost every centre has fixed windows for service corridors and goods lifts, usually outside trading hours — after midnight or before dawn — and most require notice to management a day or two ahead and a list of the crew by name.

We ask about this on the first call, before the price and before the booking, because setting a time that does not fit the centre’s rules means a stationary truck and a waiting crew at everybody’s expense.

Street-front shops are easier but need a different kind of planning: standing outside a shop for hours on a busy commercial street requires choosing the hour carefully, and early morning is usually the best answer.

Counters and shelving

The fixed furniture of a retail unit.

JobPrice in SAR
Full bedroom set150 – 300
Sliding or IKEA wardrobe100 – 250
Aluminium kitchen200 – 400
Whole-apartment package400 – 900

Disassembly includes reassembly at the new shop.

Built-in counters and wall shelving are dismantled with numbered panels, because a different order leaves visible gaps across the shopfront. See carpentry services.

Signage and the shopfront

The piece nobody thinks about until the last hour.

  • An illuminated sign is removed by a technician rather than a loader, because it is wired and fixed to the facade.
  • Three-dimensional letters come off one at a time, are wrapped individually and numbered in order.
  • Window vinyl is not normally moved; reprinting costs less than trying to peel it off intact.
  • Installing signage at the new unit may need a permit, so start that process early.
  • Photograph the whole shopfront before removal; it is the only reference for the new layout.

Storage between two units

When the lease ends before the new shop is fitted out.

Volume storedMonthly rate in SAR
One to two rooms150 – 300
Apartment contents250 – 450
Villa contents400 – 800

Monthly billing; boxes go in numbered and sealed and come out against the same manifest.

We say it plainly: heat and humidity sensitive electronic stock should not sit for long in a general warehouse. Store the fixtures, cases and shelving, and keep high-value stock somewhere secured. See short-term storage.

The repair bench

Many phone shops in Jeddah have one, and it is the most delicate corner of the unit.

A repair bench is not a table and a stool. It holds precision soldering equipment, microscopes, hot air stations and trays of very small spare parts arranged with care. All of it needs handling that differs from the rest of the shop.

Small spares — screens, batteries and flex cables — are packed into boxes with dividers and never tipped into a single container however much faster that feels. Re-sorting them in the new shop takes days, and some are damaged by friction alone.

Soldering irons and hot air stations are left to cool completely before wrapping, each unit separated from its base, and fine tips travel in their own containers rather than fitted to the tools.

Customer devices under repair deserve their own inventory and their own manifest, because they belong to other people and the responsibility is heavier than it is for your own stock. See appliance moving for how we handle electronics generally.

Electronics and phone shop relocation questions

What shop owners ask before booking.

SAR 500 to 900 for a small shop and SAR 800 to 1,400 for a mid-sized store with cases and a stock room, after a free survey.

No. The owner counts and produces the list. We receive sealed numbered boxes and deliver against the same manifest.

Emptied, shelves removed, foam then blanket then card, and always upright and strapped to the body wall.

We recommend the owner carries sealed new devices and reserved items personally.

We ask about service corridor hours, goods lift windows and management rules first, and the work is usually done outside trading hours.

A technician does, because it is wired and fixed to the facade, and we coordinate them into the plan for the day.

Disconnected with the cabling photographed and moved with their leads in a labelled bag. Reactivation may need notice to your provider.

Yes, and it is the most common window for retail moves because it costs no trading day.

Yes, monthly by volume. For sensitive stock we recommend a secured space rather than a general warehouse.

Yes, by visit or WhatsApp video, and the written price is fixed afterwards.
